Supporting industry adoption of sustainable practices

This project will maintain and increase engagement and participation of farmers and fishers through industry driven-extension and engagement programs to promote and support adoption of sustainable management practices (including building resilience to climate change). Extension and support activities that increase knowledge and skills to manage natural resources, develop a greater understanding of the ecosystems services that support primary production, and show how the adoption of sustainable management is an important part of running a productive and profitable enterprise will be supported and delivered for the pastoral sector, horticulture, agriculture and fisheries.
The project will also support planning and development of Indigenous sustainable enterprise through engagement and planning with Traditional Owners and indigenous land managers through Indigenous land councils/organisations.
