Apple is an important widely gorwn fruit with nutritional abundane. Quality of apple mostly depends on the taste, flavour, color and appearance. Early ripening apple generally contains high acids and low sugars. Previous study showed that UV-C treatment has a prominent effect on maintaing quality of several agricultural crops including fruits. The objectives of this study was to determin the regulatory effect of UV-C treatment on fruit quality of early ripening apple and RNA-seq were downe to select the probable regulatory genes involving in malic acid degradation in UV-C treated fruits.
