Designs of 3D pieces used in the implementation and development in the project entitled: "Development and implementation of a UAV multisensor platform based on edge computing" Abstract: In this research, we propose the design, implementation and development of an UAV multi-sensor platform based on Edge Computing, from now on also called (UAV MS - EC platform), which uses parallel computing for a real time modular software and hardware architecture to use in applications such as, environmental monitoring, search, rescue, reconnaissance and surveillance operations, for which there is currently a large number of lightweight sensors that have been introduced in the market in the last few years, in this context, energy consumption become a important metric in the development of UAV MS-EC platforms for data collection. Therefore, it is necessary to perform an energy consumption analysis that combines different sensing modalities to provide a time/efficiency consumption model, would present an efficient energy management of a UAV MS-EC platform, for multipurpose applications that target low energy consumption for multiple operating modes, which implemented a sensor modules called as follow Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) module, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) module, Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT) module, and Navigation module, governed by one Edge Computing Embedded System (EC-ES) for data collection, which can be interchangeable according to the battery lifetime requirements.
