Data files for "An online-learned eddy parameterization in a differentiable shallow water model"

These are the supplemental data files for the online learning experiments in "An online-learned eddy parameterization in a differentiable shallow water model". Note: it's recommended to put everything from `128_ZBparam_postspinup_cginitcond_3years_dailysaves` and below into a single directory `spinup_files`. The data files found here are tuned_weights - contains the optimized weights from offline and online experiments. Saved as JLD2 files. coarse_resolution_runs_withtunedweights - integrations with ShallowWaters and the trained NN parameterization. Can be used to recreate figures. computing_trueS - tendencies from ShallowWaters, as well as the computed symmetric tensor. Can be used to recreate figures. The remainder of the files are saved states from the fine-resolution, coarse-grained fine-resolution, ZB20 parameterized, and no parameterization integrations.
