Script from 'Plant biodiversity assessment through pollen DNA metabarcoding in Natura 2000 habitats (Italian Alps)'

This zipfile contains all information to reproduce analysis of the paper 'Plant biodiversity assessment through pollen DNA metabarcoding in Natura 2000 habitats (Italian Alps)'.<br>It contains an R markdown including all the R-code of the analysis and the description of the datasets and a data folder containing the datasets.<br>Four datasets (MAP, TAX, OTU, MICRO) were used for the analysis in the folder data and ten datasets were used after exported from the initial datasets' analysis.<br>The MAP dataset includes in rows the samples and as columns information about the samples. A total of 18 sampling points were equipped with gravimetric Tauber traps, and pollen samples were collected over three different periods.<br>The OTU dataset includes as rows the Operational Taxonomic Units (OTUs), as columns the samples (corresponding to the ID column in MAP) and as cell values the number of reads.<br>The TAX dataset includes as rows the OTUs and as columns taxonomic information of the OTUs (Family, Genus, Species, Superdivision group) and other information (growth form of the taxa and their presence in the plant checklist of the area).<br>The MICRO dataset includes microscope counts of taxa (rows) for each sample of the period March-July 2015 (columns).<br>See the R markdown file for a detailed description of each dataset.<br><br>
