This dataset compiles financial sector policy and regulatory data from two major source pools: over 460 official institutions including national legislative, judicial and supervisory authorities, Party Central Committee institutions, the State Council and its subordinate agencies, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), securities regulators, trading venues and settlement institutions, financial institutions, central enterprises and wholly state-owned enterprises funded by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), as well as relevant data from multiple columns on the official websites of all 31 provincial and municipal governments across China.
