Mouse metagenomics with or without antibiotics

Whole genome shotgun metagenomic sequencing was performed using fecal samples from laboratory mice at different time points and treatment conditions. Samples were collected immediately after obtaining the mice from the supplier (Pre) or after two weeks of broad-spectrum antibiotic treatment (Abx), or after two weeks of Polymyxin B (PMB) treatment via drinking water or after two weeks from untreated mice (Control). Then paired-end sequencing was done on an Illumina NovaSeq X platform.
