The study used a descriptive design to analyze secondary data to examine the digital divide in
education in the Philippines. It uses current data and statistical reports from the Department of
Education (DepEd) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Descriptive methods were used
to examine trends and patterns related to internet access, availability of digital devices, and
educational connectivity among Filipino students. Through the analysis of secondary data, the
current state of digital inequality and its implications for access to educational opportunities in the
Philippines are highlighted.
