The main contents of this standard cover LiDAR data selection and quality control, field survey data acquisition, LiDAR data preprocessing methods, methods for extracting stand canopy structure features of planted forests via LiDAR, stand-scale inversion of planted forest height information, and other related aspects. It stipulates the technical workflow for processing planted forest height information products. When other types of LiDAR remote sensing data sources are used, the relevant contents of this standard may be referred to for implementation. Using airborne LiDAR point cloud data (as stipulated in this standard, the point cloud density shall be ≥ 1 point per square meter), the extraction process of planted forest height information can be completed in accordance with the relevant provisions of this standard, with an overall estimation accuracy of over 85%.
