Gene expression profiles in female and male PGCs and male PGCs expressing msl1, msl2, msl3, and roX2 during stage 15-16. Drosophila melanogaster

One hundred female and male PGCs were isolated from stage 15-16 embryos derived from vasa-EGFP/vasa-EGFP; nos-Gal4/nos-Gal4 females mated with UAS-RFP/Y males and one hundred male PGCs were isolated from stage 15-16 embryos derived from UAS-msl-3, UAS-roX2/UAS-msl-3, UAS-roX2; vasa-EGFP/vasa-EGFP; nos-Gal4/nos-Gal4 females mated with UAS-RFP/Y; UAS-msl-1, UAS-msl-2/UAS-msl-1, UAS-msl-2 males. cDNAs were synthesized from the PGCs, and subjected to RNA-sequencing.
