ASTER elevation data for the SAFE Project

<b>Description: </b>These files contain processed data from the Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer (ASTER) instrument, providing 1 arc second (~30 metre) resolution elevation data across the research areas used in the SAFE Project.<br><br>The ASTER data used in these datasets was collected by the NASA TERRA satellite. Although it is freely downloadable, ASTER data downloaded for a project <b>should not be redistributed outside of that project</b>. Accordingly, these data should <b>only</b> be used for research carried out at the SAFE Project.<br><br> These files combine four panes of ASTER data to cover the SAFE sampling region and carry out some simple geoprocessing to produce a single output files. Details of the geoprocessing can be found here: https://www.safeproject.net/dokuwiki/safe_gis/aster.
