资源简介:
Anthropogenic land use is a major driver of landscape transformation and
poses a significant threat to avian biodiversity. However, its effects do
not occur in isolation, as environmental gradients such as altitude can
interact with land-use patterns to shape ecological communities in complex
ways. In particular, how these interacting factors influence the assembly
and balance between long-distance migratory and sedentary bird species
remains insufficiently understood. Focusing on avian breeding communities
in southern France, this study investigates how the equilibrium between
migratory and resident species varies across a regional altitudinal
gradient of approximately 4000 meters. Using data at a 5 × 5 km
resolution, we assess how this balance responds to altitude in combination
with landscape structure, including habitat diversity, habitat evenness,
forest cover, and overall species richness. The associated dataframe and
analytical scripts are provided to enable full replication of the study’s
analyses and figures (Figures 2, 3, and 4).
