资源简介:
The goal of this study is to investigate the impact of divergent microbiome colonization on tumor immune surveillance. We aim to analyze the fecal microbial communities of genetically identical mice to determine whether distinct microbiome compositions result in different capacities for tumor immune surveillance. To achieve this, we established a colony of genetically identical C57Bl/6 mice with divergent complex microbiomes through vertical transfer, referred to as genetically identical mice colonized with divergent complex microbiomes at birth (IMDM). We conducted 16S amplicon sequencing to assess the microbiome transfer between the mouse groups. Additionally, we evaluated the influence of microbiome compositions on antitumor immunity by characterizing the fecal microbiome of our in-house developed IMDM mice and mice obtained from different repositories. This study provides valuable insights into the influence of different microbiome compositions on tumor immune surveillance, opening avenues for potential interventions and therapeutic strategies.
