This study mainly focuses on insect -plant interaction. In this quest whole body transcriptome of <i>S. frugiperda </i>is used to predict the insilco secretome. Few effector candidates from the predicted secretome have been reported after conducting the insect -plant infestation experiment. The secretome predicted will serve as a repertoire for the identification of potential effector candidates for future studies.
