This dataset contains all data supporting the article: Vanderghinste P., Bautil A., Simmonds, S. J., Bedford M. R., González-Ortiz G., Courtin C. M. Milled and cryogenic micronised wheat bran inclusions stimulate fibre degradation and fermentation differently throughout the broiler’s gastrointestinal tract. This research includes a broiler trial in which additions of milled and cryogenic milled wheat bran were included in the feed at different levels, to asses the effect of fibre particle size along the broiler's tract, on fibre fermentation and on the caecal microbiome. Data on zootechnical measurements and digesta contents was collected to study the role of fibre particle size in enhancing fibre fermentation along the broiler's tract, to ultimately improve fibre utilisation, broiler performance and gut health.
