Prescription pharmaceuticals generated the highest turnover in Norway in 2018. The turnover for prescription pharmaceuticals amounted to roughly 24.7 billion Norwegian kroner. Nonprescription pharmaceuticals generated the second largest turnover, which was around 2.8 billion Norwegian kroner.
