"Qaraoun Lake, Lebanon: Multi-Decadal Dataset on Hydrology and Water Quality"

"This study presents a reproducible, cloud-based methodology that integrates multi-sensor Landsat 7\u20139 imagery with Google Earth Engine to assess Qaraoun Lake\u2019s hydrological trajectory and water quality deterioration over more than two decades. By combining pollution index calculation, and bathymetric volume estimation, our work provides robust evidence of environmental decline in Lebanon\u2019s largest reservoir. The findings highlight both regional challenges and broader implications for lake monitoring under climate and anthropogenic pressures."
