VPRS 4719 Wages Cards

Municipal councils have the need to employ a considerable workforce with a wide range of occupations, skills and entitlements. It is expected that the employer will ensure that each worker receives their entitlements in terms of salary, leave, compensation for accidents and entitlements to join a superannuation scheme.Each volume in this series contains a separate wages card for each employee including casual or relieving staff. Standard contents are employee name, home address and details of wages for each fortnightly pay period. Salaries Control cards at the start of each volume record the total payments of wages for each pay period. The cards were recreated for each employee for each financial year. They provide a wages history for the individual employee for each financial year.
