Gene Expression of Ovine M and GM Macrophages

Ovine monocytes, isolated from healthy adult non-pregnant sheep, were differentiated for 7 days in the presence of either GM-CSF or M-CSF. Transcriptome analysis was subsequently performed on unstimulated ovine M-oMØs and GM-oMØs on day 7 of culture. Additionally, the transcriptome of M-oMØs stimulated with LPS for 4 hours was analyzed.
