资源简介:

This dataset consists of atmospheric aerosol measurements collected during the CLIVAR/GO‑SHIP repeat hydrography section P16S from 9 January to 16 February 2005, a meridional transect in the South Pacific from roughly 17°S to 71°S. Station metadata, hydrographic data, and cruise documentation are provided by the CLIVAR & Carbon Hydrographic Data Office (CCHDO) under expocode 33RR200501. Atmospheric aerosol samples were collected on replicate filters using an automatic sector-controlled aerosol sampling system mounted on the bow of the ship. Samples were analyzed for total trace elements (Fe, Al, Si, Ti, V, Mn, Pb) and subjected to seawater and DI water leach protocols to quantify soluble Fe(II), non-sea-salt sulfate, nitrate, oxalate, and Na, and to assess the fractional solubility of trace elements (Fe, Al, Si, Ti, V, Mn). The timestamp is in UTC. For a full description of sampling protocols and analytical methods see: Buck, C.S., W.M. Landing, J.A.Resing, and G.T.
