The ORL Dataset, provided by AT&T Laboratories Cambridge, consists of 400 facial images. The images are categorized into 40 distinct subjects, with 10 images per subject. For certain subjects, the images exhibit variations in acquisition time, lighting conditions, facial expressions and fine facial details. All images have a black background and can be used for research purposes such as face recognition.
