The disease susceptibility gene CsLOB1 plays an essential role in citrus canker development which is caused by Xanthomonas citri subsp. citri (Xcc). To reveal the molecular mechanisms of CsLOB1including up- and down-regulation of specific cellular pathways involved citrus response to Xcc, global transcriptional profiling of overexpressing CsLOB1 transgenic lines O2 and O15 and RNAi-repressing CsLOB1 transgenic lines D3 and D4 and the wildtype (WT) plant were compared using RNA-Seq. The data revealed that CsLOB1 positively regulates cell wall degradation and modification, cell division and cytokinin (CK) synthesis-degradation processes.
