资源简介:
Measurement data of 4 rectangular carbon composite plates.
Plates:
- Plate dimensions: x = 240 mm, y = 480 mm, z = 1-1.4 mm.
- Two weave types are utilized: Twill weave (german: "Köper") and unidirectional (UD) fabric. For each composite plate four layers of one weave type with similar weave angle are used.
- The orientation angle of the weave layers compared to the longer edge y varies between 0° and 45°.
Measurements:
Velocity-based impulse response functions (IR) are captured (in z direction) with a laser scanning vibrometer (Polytec PSV-500) in 4371 equidistant positions. The plates are excited by an automated miniature impact hammer (based on PCB model 086E80). IRs are averaged over 10 takes per position. The plates are vertically attached to rubber bands, the boundary conditions can be assumed as 'free' for frequencies > 10 Hz.
Data:
The measurement data is stored in .uff files. Notwithstanding the age of the format, it holds all information one needs to handle the datasets and files can be comfortably assessed with e.g. Python (Package: pyuff) or Matlab.
File naming:
Example: 'TimeSeries_Twill_0°.uff'
- Twill / UD differentiates between used weave types
- The angle depicts the weave orientation in relation to the longer edge y.
