Although malaria is a widespread infectious disease that is mainly endemic in tropical and subtropical regions of the world, which remains to be a major health burden, the molecular characteristics of parasite-driven liver pathology that arises in blood stage remain to be investigated. We established a Plasmodium yoelii-rodent system, and the transcriptome profiling of P. yoelii indected mouse liver in blood stage were used for exploring the biological changes of malaria liver.
