Installed wind power capacity in Portugal 2023, by region

Portugal's central mainland region accounted for most of the wind power capacity installed in the country as of 2023, at over 2.8 gigawatts. This was closely followed by the northern mainland region, where the installed wind power capacity amounted to some 2.3 gigawatts. Meanwhile, Lisbon's wind capacity barely surpassed 100 megawatts. Portugal's total installed renewable power capacity amounted to approximately 18.7 gigawatts as of 2023.
