Vitreous was analyzed using metagenomics using two DNA isolation methods (QIAamp DNA Mini Kit, QIA; QIAamp UCP Pathogen Mini kit, UCP) and the taxonomic affiliation of reads was determined using Kraken, Bracken, and BLASTn analysis.
