Experience of young people with traineeships.<br>Topics: time needed to find first work experience; main obstacles to finding first work experience; kind of first work experience: student job, apprenticeship, traineeship, entry-level job on fixed contract, entry-level job with (possibility of) a permanent contract, self-employment, other; number of traineeships; main reasons for not having had a traineeship; traineeships with the same employer; traineeships in another EU country; main reasons for not having had a traineeship in another EU country; kind of last resp. current traineeship: compulsory part of personal studies, obligatory to access a profession, part of a (public) programme supporting people in finding employment, other; duration of last resp. current traineeship; size of host company or organisation of last resp. current traineeship; personal situation six months after last traineeship: started working on a fixed contract with same employer that offered traineeship, started working with a permanent contract with same employer that offered traineeship, started working on a fixed contract with another employer, started working on a permanent contract with another employer, self-employed, back to study, unemployed, traineeship is not yet completed, other; support of last traineeship provider when searching for a job; attitude towards the following statements with regard to last traineeship: learnt things that are useful professionally, helpful to find a regular job, working conditions were equivalent to those of regular employees (apart from pay), help from a mentor during the traineeship; salary or other financial compensation for last traineeship; provider of payment: educational institution, employer, Public Employment Service, other; access to selected kinds of social protection with regard to last traineeship: social protection like regular employees in the company / organisation, some elements of social protection, no access; attitude towards the following statements with regard to last traineeship: provision with all necessary equipment to carry out tasks remotely, reception of adequate guidance and mentoring to carry out tasks remotely; attitude towards the following statements: young people with disabilities have access to the same traineeship opportunities than others, young people with disabilities receive adapted office equipment and reasonable adjustments needed to carry out their task when doing a traineeship, young people with a migrant background have access to the same traineeship opportunities than others, young people from a disadvantaged socio-economic background have access to the same traineeship opportunities than others.
