Site Images and Report from Historic Building Recording Work (Level 2) at Lower East Street, Middlesbrough, November 2024

This collection consists of site images and a report from level 2 historic building recording works at Lower East Street, Middlesborough, North Yorkshire. Works were conducted by PCA Heritage in November 2024. The two brick and steel-framed walls are the remaining parts of a structure which was erected at some point between 30 July 1948 and the end of 1951 as an extension of Middlesbrough Gas Works. The purpose of the structure has not been verified but there are clues which suggest it was a purifier house.
