资源简介:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic carbon dioxide made by Robin Keir and oceanic ammonium made by Rolf Peinert during the Poseidon 237_1 research cruise on the North-Western Iberian Slope in the North-East Atlantic, as part of Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (JGOFS) and the Ocean Margin EXchange (OMEX) programmes. The cruise began on 28th February 1998 and ended on 16th March 1998 with the spatial coverage of +42N and +43N latitude and +9W and +10W longitude.
The data set consists of:
-184 measurements of the concentration of carbon (total inorganic)(TCO2) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate <0.4um phase) by filtration, acidification and CO2 quantification by gas analyser; and
-156 measurements of the concentration of ammonium (NH4) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by colorimetric autoanalysis.
See below for further details.
