Topics covered in this survey are attitudes to baking of bread on weekends, Anzac Day and opening of various facilities (petrol, hotels, race meetings, picture shows), old age pension, atomic tests in Central Australia, knighthoods for Australians, vote intention and past vote at a referendum on banning of the Communist Party, introduction of a special tax for single people, the Queen living in each Commonwealth country in turn, eligibility for state Governors, the Australian forces in Malaya, and trade with communist China. Standard variables are vehicle and telephone ownership, occupation, economic classification, age, sex, and vote at last Federal election.
