Volumetric density and temperature fields produced by a hot air jet with different nozzle shapes at 120C
收藏资源简介:
Measurements of volumetric density are provided for a hot air jet at 120C produced by a consumer-grade Yihua995D hot air gun as a demonstration of our newly-developed rotating-nozzle telecentric tomo-BOS technique. The jets examined are all produced at the same conditions with the hot air gun fan running at maximum power, and a jet velocity of 17m/s measured at the nozzle center for the circular nozzle case. Nozzle cases tested: Circular; Rectangular; Elliptical; Diamond; Double-circular. The Rectangular, Elliptical and Diamond cases have a 2:1 aspect ratio, and the double-circular case has two circular nozzles separated to test the technique when overlapping views of two Schlieren objects collapse in the camera view. All nozzle orifices have an area of 25 mm^2. Files provided include: Nozzle shapes are provided as .STL files; Volume reconstructions are provided as Paraview VTK files. A compiled visualization file is provided as a Paraview PVSM file. The raw image files of the background captured, together with the raw density fields, are provided as a DaVis 10.1 project (2-part Zip file).
