Data and R code for: Canopy plants safeguard the taxonomic and phylogenetic diversity of recruiting plants worldwide

This repository contains the data and R scripts used to reproduce all analyses presented in:

The dataset compiles a global network of plant recruitment interactions, including canopy (nurse) species and recruiting plant species across 142 study sites worldwide. Each record includes species identities, recruitment frequencies, and environmental metadata (e.g., aridity).
