Additional file 7. Association of gene expression to pseudotime values in the rod dataset. To determine which transcripts were associated with pseudotime, we performed a Wald test using the tradeSeq package (associationTest, no log2 fold-change threshold). The expression pattern of each gene in the entire dataset is modeled along pseudotime, and the Wald statistic is calculated to indicate whether the gene is associated with pseudotime.
