To expore whether UV-B induce the expression of ABA-responsive genes, we compared transcriptomes of 10-d-old Col-0 and uvr8 seedlings ± 50 uM ABA treatment and 3-h exposure to 5 ?mol m–2 s–1 UV-B or white-light control. Overall design: 10-d-old Col-0 and uvr8 seedlings grown in long-day conditions were treated with or without 50 uM ABA in white light or white light plus UV-B(5 umol m–2 s–1) for 3 h. Total RNA was isolated using the RNAiso Plus (Takara) kit. RNA quality control was performed by gel electrophoresis. Three biological replicates were independently prepared throughout the processes, from the induction of seed germination to the preparation of RNA-seq libraries.
