Survey on Voluntary Work, 2009

The Survey on voluntary work aims to address three main themes: participation, change processes and funding mechanisms and frameworks. Centre for Research on Civil Society & Voluntary Sector previously mapped voluntary work, which has been given attention in the media and the research community in Norway. The survey is divided between two different partial samples. There is one random cross-section sample drawn randomly from Statistics Norway's database. In addition, there is one drawn a smaler sample among people of immigrant background. There is no documentation report on the survey, but the Centre for Research on Civil Society & Voluntary Sector has prepared a note that goes in depth on the various committees. This may be of interest if one wants to explore trends and developments in voluntary work further.
