This study focuses on remote sensing monitoring and forecasting of pest and disease occurrences in major global wheat-producing countries during their mid-to-late growth stages in May 2023. Research findings show that the total predicted cumulative infested area of rust diseases in these major wheat-producing countries amounts to approximately 120 million mu, primarily distributed in India, Russia, the United States, Kazakhstan, Canada, Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Ukraine, France, Germany, Morocco, Poland, Afghanistan, Romania, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, Iraq and Uzbekistan, accounting for 5.2% of the total wheat planting area.
