Viruses of freshwater mussels from the Upper Tennessee River Basin USA

This project contains metagenomic sequences of freshwater mussel (pheasantshell, Actinonaias pectorosa) tissues. Mussel were raised in captive hatchery environment, then placed in cages at multiple sites throughout the Upper Tennessee River Basin in Fall 2020 and Fall 2021. Mussels were collected back periodically, stored and later sequenced.
