Chadwyck-Healey Poetry Database Metadata (Wikidata-enriched)

Poem-level metadata catalogue for the Chadwyck-Healey English Poetry reference corpus used in The Quotable Canon: Poetry as Example in the Princeton Prosody Archive (1532–1929). The file covers approximately 313,000 poem/edition records drawn from the aggregated Chadwyck-Healey poetry collections. Using OpenRefine, we cleaned Chadwyck-Healey author and title fields and reconciled poet records against Wikidata, supplementing and correcting dates of birth (P569), dates of death (P570), sex or gender (P21), occupation (P106), and country of citizenship (P27) where possible (article footnote 9). IMPORTANT: This release contains catalogue metadata only, not poem full texts. Chadwyck-Healey poem texts remain available only through institutional ProQuest/Gale licensing and are not redistributed here.
