In this study, due to the importance of age factor in establishing a steady microbial community. Tcf7-/- mice and littermate controls were selected at 5, 10 and 22 weeks old in represent of different age stages. We elucidate the previously unknown role of TCF-1 involved in homeostasis of gut microbial community.
