This study aimed to investigate the intestinal epithelial cell response to ischemic stroke. 10-12 weeks old C56BL/6 male mice were used to induce stroke by a 45 min of transit middle cerebral occlusion (MCAO). One day after stroke induction, ileal epithelial cells (iECs) were isolated from stroke mice and sham controls to analyze their transcriptomes.
