We aim to elucidate the function of estrogen-related receptor gamma (ERRg) in pancreatic acinar cell mitochondrial homeostasis and energy production. Using a model of ERRg inhibition, ERRg conditional knock-out (cKO) mice, were used to investigate ERRg function in the exocrine pancreas. To identify the functional role of ERRg in pancreatic acinar cells, we performed transcriptome analysis with the pancreas isolated from ERRg cKO mice.
