CPR data_west UK

Excel file containing CPR data for Standard areas C4,C5,D4 and D5 1958 to 2019, in an excel file containing 5 sheets, total diatoms, total dinoflagellates, assorted taxa (selected already), Noctiluca and taxa numbers/names. For the first four sheets, data presented as sample level data (each sample being 1 row, equating to approx. 10 nautical miles of tow, 3m3 of filtered seawater). For each group/taxa, values indicate abundance (according to standard CPR methodology, see Richardson et al. 2006, Prog in Oceanog 68. 27-74), values of 0.001 indicate presence only, zero values are absence of taxon. In Noctiluca sheet, the species was not recorded until 1981, therefore prior to this, all cells contain 'NaN', Not a Number. The sheets consist of samples in rows, with the following information in columns - A: area ID B:sample id C:midpoint of sample latitude in decimal degrees D:midpoint of sample longitude in decimal degrees E:midpoint of sample local date and time F:sample year G: sample month H onwards: taxa. Final sheet contains corresponding taxa names and numbers - note, taxa included are only the ones which were counted for the whole dataset period, 1958 to 2019.
