资源简介:
Introduction: To report an unusual case of presumed paraneoplastic syndrome due to Hodgkin lymphoma
Case Presentation: An otherwise healthy 18 year-old male patient, with progressive bilateral visual loss for a two-month period. Fundus examination revealed multiple yellow-whitish lesions in both eyes, resembling multifocal choroiditis. Over time, the patient developed subretinal fibrosis, and a palpable cervical lypmph node, which was biopsied, confirming the diagnosis of Hodgkin lymphoma.
Conclusion: Ocular involvement in Hodgkin lymphoma is rare, and may present with a ride range of signs and symptoms. Paraneoplastic inflammatory syndromes should be considered by ophthalmologists in patients with atypical bilateral posterior uveitis.
