This dataset contains 500 files designed for testing anti-forensic detection techniques. Each file has a deliberately mismatched file extension (e.g., a ZIP archive named report.jpg). The file contents are benign, but their headers (magic numbers) do not match the claimed extension. This dataset was created to evaluate the recall of the anomaly detection engine in the Foruster forensic tool, as described in the accompanying research paper.
