Draft genome sequences of Group B Streptococcus isolates from infected infants or children

Group B Streptococcus (GBS) is a leading cause of invasive neonatal infections. We present the draft genome of 238 invasive GBS isolates collected from October 1998 to February 2020 in Taiwan, aiming to investigate the trend of GBS serotype and genotype change and their correlation with antimicrobial resistance before and after implementation of intrapartum antibiotic prophylaxis (IAP).
