cDNAs were produced and sequenced from 6 tissue samples of Musa acuminata subsp malaccensis accession DH-Pahang: deployed leaves, male flowers, bracts, fruit pulp, fruit peel and a pool of pseudostem, floral stem and young leaf. The tissues were harvested from an adult DH-Pahang plant grown in the field in Guadeloupe.^The cDNAs were synthesized with the SuperSmart RACE PCR kit (Clontech, St-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France) according to the manufacturer’s protocol.
