HPMS Lane Width
收藏资源简介:
The Idaho Transportation Department's (ITD) Roads and Highways Road Network Linear Referencing System (LRS) HPMS lane width event polyline feature class represents the measured or designated width of a single travel lane within a roadway segment, expressed in feet. Lane width is a critical design element that influences roadway capacity, vehicle operating speed, and overall safety performance. Values are obtained from roadway design plans, construction records, and pavement inventory systems maintained as part of ITD’s Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) data collection and reporting process to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Both rural and urban lane widths are recorded to support design consistency, maintenance planning, and performance monitoring. This layer is an export from Roads and Highways that represents only the active records within the LRS. These are current “working” records. For the static, published data, please see the records stored at: https://www.fhwa.dot.gov/policyinformation/hpms.cfm This content item is a sub-layer of the Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) authoritative feature layer.
