Tree Preservation Orders Live

Tree Preservation Orders also known as TPO's are served on individual trees, groups of trees or woodlands to prohibit the: cutting down, uprooting, topping, lopping, damage, or destruction of trees. For trees protected by a TPO consent is required from the Council to carry out works to it. Protection is also given to all trees in Conservation Areas and the Council must be formally notified of an intention to carry out any works that may affect such a tree.树木保护令（Tree Preservation Orders，简称TPO）可针对单棵树木、成片林木或林地作出，旨在禁止对树木实施砍伐、连根拔起、截顶、修枝、损害或毁坏行为。对于受TPO保护的树木，开展相关作业前需获得地方市政委员会的许可。保护区域（Conservation Areas）内的所有树木同样受到保护，若计划开展任何可能影响此类树木的作业，必须正式告知地方市政委员会。
