Raw dataset from three multidisciplinary databases for bibliometric analysis

This dataset compiles raw bibliographic records retrieved from three major scholarly databases—Scopus, Web of Science, and Dimensions—to facilitate comprehensive bibliometric analyses of phytochemistry and metabolomic research in Africa. The records were exported in standardised formats (CSV, XLSX, RIS), while retaining the original metadata for analytical transparency. The dataset forms the foundation for reproducible workflows in Bibliometrix (R environment), enabling cross-database validation of publication patterns, keyword co-occurrence networks, and thematic evolution.
