This dataset consists of water column measurements collected from a trace metal CTD during the CLIVAR/GO‑SHIP repeat hydrography section P02 from 15 June to 27 August 2004, a zonal transect in the North Pacific from roughly 134°E to 121°W. Station metadata, hydrographic data, and cruise documentation are provided by the CLIVAR & Carbon Hydrographic Data Office (CCHDO) under expocode 318M200406. A trace-metal clean rosette was used to collect seawater from the upper 1000 m of the water column and then subsampled in a clean van for salinity, nutrients, and dissolved and particulate trace metal samples. Filtered (<0.4 µm) samples were collected for shipboard analysis by flow injection methods for dissolved Fe and Al concentrations. Total suspended matter samples were collected onto 0.4 µm filters and analyzed by ED-XRF at NOAA-PMEL for particulate Al, Si, P, Ca, Mn, and Fe. The timestamp is in UTC.
